Marcos Wanless is the founder and president of the Latino Chambers of Commerce in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. In 2022, the Seattle Chamber was recognized as the Best Hispanic Chamber in the United States. He also founded Latinos US, a private education project aimed at uniting the Latino community in the U.S.
In 2016, he established the Seattle Metropolitan Latino Chamber of Commerce (SLMCC), building a network of over 2,000 businesses and offering business education programs and representation before authorities to ensure equity and justice.
As a consultant, he coordinated the first Spanish-language development for Liberty Mutual and advised Eric Garcetti’s successful 2013 Los Angeles mayoral campaign. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Mexico’s Presidential News Agency under Vicente Fox.
He co-authored the bestseller Mitos Geniales de la Modernización and won the Seattle Escribe 2018 contest. He holds a degree in Business Administration from ITAM and has completed studies at Harvard and yoga certifications in India and California.
