Grecia Valeria Sánchez

Project Coordinator

Valeria brings her international experience, proficiency in English and Spanish, artistic sensitivity, and management skills to the Latinos US project. Raised in the border region between Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, and El Paso, Texas, Valeria has a deep understanding of the experiences of Spanish speakers, making her an invaluable asset to the team.

She holds a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Plastic Arts from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and participated in an international exchange at the University of Granada, Spain. She has taken part in collective exhibitions such as Colectivo RAMÉ and Disidencias and holds an English certification from Education First in Bristol, England.

Her empathy and commitment to the community are reflected in her volunteer work in underfunded schools, communities affected by disasters, and children’s homes, as seen during her time as a member of Rotaract and Interact. Additionally, she represented Mexico as a peace and culture ambassador in the Rotary Youth Exchange 2018-2019 of District 4110 in Indonesia.
